Honeybee
Summer is here, Honeybees! 🫶🏼
It is officially the end of the school year! We are so grateful for all the love, laughter, and growth that came our way. Every year, we get the privilege to care for your children and witness their new life experiences. This is something that we hold near and dear to our hearts; we are honored that you entrust our Honeybee team with this responsibility. As this school year comes to a close, we would like to make sure our transitions into the summer and upcoming school year are smooth.
On the last day of school, Wednesday May 21, please bring a large tote bag so we are able to pack and send home all of your children’s belongings. If you are returning for the summer program, this gives you an opportunity to switch out any seasonal clothes, to give everything a good wash, or to label them with names! Please return items on the first day of school upon arrival. 🙂
If you would like your child to use items like sunscreen or bug spray, please remember to apply before drop-off OR sign a topical consent form for us to apply at school. These forms can be picked up at the front desk. This will be helpful especially during the hot summer!
We are anticipating a super fun summer and can’t wait to spend it all with you!
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Susan@creoschool.org or Nido@creoschool.org
With all our love,
Ms. Susan, Ms. Maria, Ms. Roseanna

Happy Summer!

Butterfly
Happy end of the year to all,
What precious moments Ms. Daisy and I have had with your children throughout the year. I tear up as I think back on those times, from where we started and where we are now. With time, consistency, and perseverance we have overcome many challenges that we now accomplish with ease. In the beginning, it might sound boring to hear, “our daily routine is the exact same every day" but this is where our consistency begins. The child comes in knowing there is little change and that will solidify trust and independence around the environment. We have so many precious babes moving up or moving states, I wish we could have just a little more time together!
Thank you for all your patience and understanding to our Montessori philosophy and know that we are here, always, for your children. We hope to see you back and ready for another fall semester (or summer).
With love,
Ms. Rebeca and Ms. Daisy

Hummingbird
Dear Hummingbird Familia,
As the school year ends and we enter summer, please join me in saying farewell to some of our friends who are moving up to Children’s House. We wish the best to Archie, Gaby, Ivy, and Lizzy in their future. We will miss our friends dearly, but we are excited for them to have new experiences. It has been my honor and great pleasure to be able to witness and assist in the development of the children in our class.
Regardless of age, every member of our Hummingbird family impacts everybody. Each person offers each other the opportunity to experience life in many different ways, whether it be learning new words, a new approach, or a style, we can all learn from each other. According to Dr. Maria Montessori, all the experiences children and adults have will help develop their personalities, and the adults can also learn and grow alongside them.
This month, everybody got a chance to pick a stencil to paint onto a canvas bag for their Mother’s Day project. Also, on the back of the canvas bag, everybody got to choose the color they wanted to paint their handprints. Mostly everyone enjoyed getting messy with painting their handprints, while some were more excited about painting their stencils.
We hope you and your family have a safe and amazing summer break! We cherish every day that the children are in our lives because it gives us a chance to improve our world, practice our approaches, and gain awareness of ourselves and others. We will miss spending the weekdays together. We will have you in our thoughts and look forward to welcoming back our returning families in the new school year!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for letting us be part of your child’s toddler years!
Best wishes,
Ms. Kat and Ms. Dafne

Squirrel
¡Hola familias de Squirrel!
As we wrap up a beautiful school year, we want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This year has been full of laughter, learning, and love—new friends joined our community, and familiar faces have blossomed before our eyes. Watching your little ones grow has been nothing short of magical.
As the school year ends, we prepare to welcome new faces and say a warm “see you soon!” to our friends moving up to Children’s House. We’re so proud of every step your child has taken on their Montessori journey—and we’re grateful for your trust and partnership in that growth. It truly takes a village, and we are honored to be part of yours.
If your family is joining us for our Summer Program, keep your eyes open—summer details are coming soon! We’ll be sending home all personal belongings for every child (even if you're joining us this summer!) so we can refresh and prepare our environment for the fun summer ahead and the exciting new school year to come.
This month, the children helped prepare a berry and yogurt salad—slicing, scooping, and proudly serving it up with smiles. They’ve been extra into summer cleaning too, scrubbing little chairs, dishes, and shelves with purpose. Our plants also got extra love and attention—Montessori magic in action! 🌿✨
In the Montessori environment, even the smallest tasks—like washing dishes or caring for plants—are valuable work. They build confidence, coordination, and a sense of independence.
Thank you again for your continuous support, love, and trust. Here's to a joyful Summer and even more growth ahead in our Squirrel community!
With gratitude,
Ms. Nadia and Ms. Andrea
