Peek Inside Lower Elementary
BLACK BEAR
Dear Black Bear families,
As we come to the end of another wonderful year, we take this opportunity to thank you for supporting and trusting us with your children. We feel blessed to be able to learn and grow with them while building memories and increasing our knowledge.
We enjoyed welcoming our Children House fly-ups and look forward to making them part of our community next year, and as our third years prepare to fly-up, we share their excitement, confident that they are ready to begin a new chapter in their development.
We hope you have a safe and fun filled Summer!
Warmly,
Ms. Rebeca and Ms. Carmen

Peek Inside Upper Elementary
FALCON
Dear Falcon Parents,
This month, the students had a fantastic time visiting the Arizona State Capitol Museum. Exploring the rich history and heritage of the state. The highlight of their visit was stepping onto the floor of the House of Representatives, where one of our legislators graciously took the time to meet with the children, providing them with valuable insights into the world of politics. The experience was truly enriching, and our children were inspired by the visit.
The upper elementary students, who are in their last year, planned a trip to the movies, where they enjoyed an entertaining film together. Following the movie, they indulged in a well-deserved treat of ice cream. The joy and laughter shared during this outing were infectious, creating lasting memories for the graduating students.
As we approach the end of the school year, we can feel the energy and enthusiasm emanating from our students. The culmination of their hard work and dedication throughout the year has led to this exciting time. They are eager and prepared for the summer break, ready to embark on new adventures, pursue personal interests, and spend quality time with family and friends.
As we conclude this year, let us reflect on the growth, achievements, and memories our children have made. We look forward to welcoming them back in the fall for another exciting year of learning, exploration, and discovery.
Wishing you all a wonderful summer filled with relaxation, joy, and unforgettable moments with your loved ones.
Kindly,
Ms. Ximena and Ms. Carla

ROADRUNNER
Dear Roadrunner families,
It is with such a high mix of emotions that we send our last peek inside. It is unbelievable that we are quickly approaching the end of our school year. This last month has been filled with various large projects, nonetheless.
Our wonderful art teacher, Ms. Natasha, organized our first Upper Elementary art exhibit. She introduced the technique of drip art using acrylic paints on gallery canvases. Lower Elementary students were invited to visit and art centered conversations were sparked. As an extension of courtesy, some children baked banana bread to share during this experience.
Speaking of baking, the series of bake sales throughout the year from Sugary Sweets Bakery raised a total over $2,250. Their goals were surpassed and they were able to meet with members of the Children’s Home Project and the East Valley Breast Cancer Awareness organization to donate all of their proceeds.
Some Lower Elementary friends also spent a morning with us as we prepare to welcome into our classroom next year. Roadrunners spent their time orienting them to our environment, giving art lessons and reviewing math material with them. We are excited to see our classroom grow!
Another group spent countless hours practicing and preparing for their production of Tangled the Musical. Props were created, scenes were blocked, choreography was rehearsed and much more. The coordination and perseverance required for this child led production for their two spectacular showings was impressive and left some of us (mostly Ms. Lauren) in tears.
Our sixth graders have been hard at work on their capstone project in which they will present on our final days together. Others had the opportunity to present some of their research, finish experiments and attend going outs.
We are looking forward to a fun last few days of school and the return of the children in August. May your summer be full of laughter, joy and time creating wonderful memories together.
-Ms. Lauren and Ms. Juany
