Rebeca Godfrey

Black Bear Lower Elementary Lead Guide

Originally born in Mexico City, Ms. Rebeca later moved to Chicago where she attended Northern Illinois University, received her bachelor’s degree, and met her husband. While in college, she worked in a Montessori school where her passion and love for Montessori began.  She holds an AMI Primary and an Elementary Montessori Diploma.  With 25 years of experience, this is her fourth year at Creo School. Rebeca is fluent in English, Spanish, and conversational French. She feels privileged to have joined this warm and inspiring community.

Rebeca has two sons, both attended Montessori from toddler through Upper Elementary. Her eldest currently works at a Montessori school as an assistant and is a staff favorite. Rebeca’s other son is a senior in High School. Ms. Rebeca loves animals; she has two dogs and one cat. In her spare time, Rebeca enjoys reading, yoga, traveling, hiking, visiting local restaurants, and using her green thumb to create magnificent garden spaces.
