Prabha Andamuthu

Prabha is from South India and relocated to Arizona in 2009. She has a Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Biotechnology and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics and has experience working in scientific corporations. Prabha was first introduced to Montessori education when her eldest daughter started primary school. She has previously attended an AMS Montessori Primary (3-6) Program in California and is currently working on her AMI Diploma at the elementary level at the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies, with a graduation in June. In addition to her Montessori and STEAM credentials, she is a certified Positive Discipline Classroom and Parent Educator. Prabha is always striving to expand her skill set to better serve her students and their families.

Prabha also works with children of a wide age range as a volunteer teacher at a heritage language school in Chandler, teaching Tamil. She helps them connect to their roots through a variety of engaging activities. She has mentored college students through an organization that helps improve their English communication skills and career readiness.

Prabha is an avid book collector who is passionate about expanding her home library. She believes in cherishing quality time with her family and enjoys planning daytime excursions with her husband and two daughters on weekends. Additionally, she stays connected with her extended family through frequent video calls with her niece and nephew.
