Maiza was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and immigrated to Los Angeles at an early age. She was part of an immersive ESL pilot program through LAUSD that keeps bilingual education very close to her heart. She went on to study Economics at the University of California, Berkeley.
Maiza’s love of travel landed her in the airline industry, where she led Operations as the General Manager for JetBlue and British Airways at Sky Harbor for 20+ years.
Her love of kids brought her to Creo where she stays young at heart by keeping up with the adolescents at Creo’s Farm Campus.
Maiza lives in Gilbert, close to her four adult children and granddaughter. She loves planning events and cooking meals of any kind!
