HUMMINGBIRD TODDLER ASSISTANT Guide

After graduating from high school, Ms. Kayla began her Montessori journey working with the Creo family. Prior to joining Creo, she worked as a gymnastics coach at USA Youth Fitness Center, where she gained valuable experience mentoring and supporting children. During high school, she also babysat for neighborhood families and family friends, further developing her childcare skills.

Ms. Kayla completed three years of Spanish coursework and comes from a Spanish-speaking household, allowing her to communicate effectively with bilingual families. She was also actively involved in her high school's nursing program. With her younger sisters attending the elementary program at Creo, she has developed a strong connection to the school community. As she begins her college journey, Ms. Kayla is excited to continue learning about Montessori education and child development. In her free time, Ms. Kayla enjoys playing musical instruments, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She has had the unique opportunity to work alongside her mother, an AMI-certified Montessori teacher, and has gained valuable insight into the Montessori philosophy through years of observation and interaction. This experience has helped shape her understanding of the Montessori approach and inspired her passion for supporting children's growth and independence. Ms. Kayla looks forward to expanding her knowledge and contributing positively to the learning experiences of the children in her care.
