Joselyne Valdes

Bobcat Children’s House Assistant

 

Ms. Joselyne is a proud Mexican native. Since she was a child, she always dreamed that when she grew up, she wanted to be a teacher. She used to help her siblings or other young children with homework or teach them something new every day. She started as an assistant in 2017 in a school in which she did not know was a Montessori environment, she fell in love instantly with the pedagogy and knew this is where she belonged. After she finished college, she decided to become a Montessori Guide. She took her training at Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies in 2020. She holds an AMI Children’s House diploma and a Bachelor’s degree in Education. Her life goal is keep learning and preparing herself to guide children in their independence and development of knowledge.

Outside of school, Ms. Joselyne likes to try new things every day but her favorites activities are exercise, sports or outdoor activities and what she enjoys the most is to spend quality time with her family.
