Jamie was born and raised in Seattle, Washington.She moved to Arizona in 2001 to attend Arizona State University. Jamie earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in elementary education from ASU and began her teaching career after graduation. Jamie spent 10 years teaching second and third grade in the Tempe and Chandler school districts, where she developed a strong passion for early childhood education.

After her second child was born, Jamie chose to step away from the classroom to focus on raising her children and growing her own small business. She remained deeply involved in education through six years of service on her children’s Parent Teacher Association board, including two years as president.

Jamie’s two children now attend Creo School, where they absolutely thrive and have rejuvenated their love for learning. She lives in Queen Creek with her husband Rich, their children, and a lively household that includes four dogs, four cats, and 20 chickens. In her free time, Jamie enjoys caring for her animals and spending quality time with her family.
