Originally from Cusco, Peru, Ms. Hany brings 12 years of dedicated teaching experience to the classroom. She holds an AMI Children’s House Diploma from the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies in Arizona and an Early Childhood Diploma from the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder, Colorado. Ms. Hany holds an Arizona Standard Professional Early Childhood Education Certification (Birth–Grade 3) and recently completed certifications in Pathways to Proficient Reading and Structured Literacy (K–5). In addition, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a TEFL certification.
Guided by her belief that children represent the future of humanity and the transformation of society, Ms. Hany embraces the idea that "children are higher beings who are capable of greatness."
Outside the classroom, Ms. Hany is the proud mother of two young sons, Adeus and Hanaq. She enjoys reading, camping, playing pickle-ball, and—above all—spending quality time with her two boys and her mother.
