BLACK BEAR
Dear Black Bear Families,
The school year draws to a close and it's a bittersweet moment as we reflect on the growth and progress of the children over the past months. There is a palpable sense of pride as the time comes to unwind and recharge. It is also a time to reflect on the bonds forged and the lessons learned.
There's a collective excitement and a twinge of sadness. The Black Bear classroom will be awaiting the return to hard work, laughter and chatter in the fall. While some friends will moving up, embarking on new adventures and challenges, they leave behind memories that will be cherished forever.
We are filled with gratitude for the unwavering support and trust shown by the Black Bear families throughout the year as, together, we nurture and guide the next generation towards a brighter future!
Have a safe and happy Summer!
-Ms. Rebeca and Ms. Carmen

COYOTE
Dear Coyote Families,
These past few weeks of May have been bittersweet as we get excited for summer plans while also getting ready to say goodbye to friends moving on to new adventures.
Beauty continues to thrive in our environment through the richness of their works and explorations. Several students are learning songs from different Broadway musicals, others are wrapping up research projects and preparing presentations for their discoveries and still others are answering questions they have about the world through science experiments. It’s so heartening to see them preparing for the summer with so much enthusiasm for life and learning.
We are going to wrap up the school year with the fun of spirit week next week and a half day on Thursday. We will also spend time deep cleaning our environment and clearing out all our work to make room for new friends and new work in the fall! Make sure to hype your child up for the last days of school as a time to get closer to their friends and staff through being a positive member of the community.
We are so proud of our Coyote family!

FALCON
Dear Falcon Parents,
As we near the end of the school year, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your incredible generosity and support during Teacher Appreciation Week. Your kind gestures and thoughtful gifts truly meant the world to me and to Ms. Carla, and we are deeply grateful for your continued partnership in your child's education journey.
Over the past month, our classroom has been buzzing with activity and learning. Despite the excitement of summer vacation approaching, the children remained mostly focused and engaged in their lessons, with a particularly strong emphasis on math skills. It's been inspiring to witness their growth and progress firsthand.
Many of our students also had the opportunity to participate in an enriching art project led by Ms. Natasha. Their creativity and imagination shone brightly as they worked on their masterpieces, and the results were truly impressive.
As we approach the end of the school year, it has been a time for the children to finalize their work and showcase their accomplishments. I have been immensely proud to see each of them present their in-depth studies on a variety of topics, demonstrating their curiosity and dedication to learning.
I'm also pleased to share that some of our students took on leadership roles during our afternoon walks, guiding the group with confidence and enthusiasm. It's been wonderful to see their natural leadership abilities emerge and flourish.
To celebrate all of their hard work and achievements this school year, the children decided to rent a waterslide for a day of fun and laughter. It's a fitting way to mark the end of the year and create lasting memories together.
As we prepare to part ways for the summer, I want to wish you and your family a lovely and restful break. Thank you once again for your unwavering support and partnership throughout the year. It has been a joy and privilege to teach your children!
With Gratitude,
Ximena Camarena

ROADRUNNER
Dearest Roadrunner Families,
It is bittersweet to be writing the final Peek Inside for our 2023-2024 school year. This last month has been quite busy with many culminating projects. We had fun learning how to create infinity photo cubes this month and collages made out of recycled materials. The children lit up after seeing the results of their creations. It was heartwarming to see the children welcome their parents and guests from other classrooms to present their artwork.
We saw many celebrations this month, both birthday and group celebrations. Our sixth-grade students coordinated a celebratory event for the completion of their elementary program. Another group of children spent time planning fun end-of-the-year events, including a water slide. They worked together to budget and coordinate the funding and scheduling of their event. This included the experience of coordinating classroom meetings to communicate the logistics of said events.
The largest projects we saw come to their end were the Capstone projects for the sixth-grade students. The children interviewed experts in their field of study and presented their final paper and presentation. It was such inspiring work for our younger friends to see the final product after seeing the hard work and dedication they poured into their projects throughout the year.
We want to thank you for your continued dedication and support, and above all the opportunity to work with your incredible children. We are both sad to say goodbye and excited for the adventures that lie ahead for the children moving into the adolescent program. We look forward to the return of many of the children in the fall and want to send our best wishes to those leaving our community, traveling to new states and new schools. It has been an amazing year, thank you again! We wish you a wonderful summer!
Best regards,
Ms. Lauren & Ms. Juany
