Ms. Bonnie is an Army Brat who is originally from Indiana, but lived much of her life in the South. She holds a B.A. in English and History, a Montessori infant toddler credential, and an AMI Children’s House diploma. Ms. Bonnie has been in Montessori since the late 90s. Her experience as an assistant in every level from infant to middle school has helped to inspire a deep love of the Montessori method and the life-long gifts it gives children. Time away from Montessori as a small business owner gave her a new set of skills while confirming that Montessori was where she was called to be. Her time as an AMI Children’s House guide gave her the privilege to witness first-hand what a powerful effect authentic Montessori has on a child’s self-construction. She was Head of School at an AMI Montessori school for four years before joining Creo in 2020, and is excited to grow with the school.
Ms. Bonnie relocated from Glendale to the East Valley with her spouse, stepson, son, a sweet rescue mutt, and a sulcata tortoise. When she isn’t daydreaming about travel, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family. She is known for her love of art, Golden Retrievers, Mystery Science Theater 3000, and the ability to quote large passages of The Princess Bride.
