Peace: It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

As we close another year and prepare for the next, it’s important to take a moment to see the world that we find ourselves in. While there are many beautiful things we see happening within our community, it’s impossible to miss the reality of the attacks at schools and universities around the country. While Gilbert is one of the safest cities in America and no one wants to think it would happen to us, or anywhere, we must face that possibility. Creo has a plan in place to best protect our students and staff. However, there is always more that can be done.

While we hope the work we do at Creo will change the world, our approach continues to be to preserve the peaceful feeling of our classrooms while providing maximum security to protect our children.

A collaborative effort is needed in achieving this goal, without interruption to the children. Let’s work together to be proactive, not reactive; prevention is what has been proven to save lives.
