Lauren Franchek


Toddler and Children’s House Program Director

Originally from Alberta, Canada, Lauren is happy to call the Sonoran Desert home. Lauren served Creo as our founding Lead Children’s House Guide and Level Coordinator for five years and has 13 years of Montessori teaching experience. Lauren is the Co-Founder/Chairperson of Arizona’s AMI Alumni Association. As an undergraduate, Lauren studied Psychology at Arizona State University. She holds AMI diplomas in Children’s House and Elementary Assistance from the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies, as well as Inclusive Education from the Montessori Institute, University of San Diego. In addition, Lauren is currently pursuing master educational leadership courses through the AMI Whole School Leadership Institute. She believes strongly in Creo’s Montessori heritage and teacher development to benefit the growth of children in our own school as well as the global Montessori community. Lauren enjoys traveling, photography, reading, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her husband and dog.
