Multi-aged - creating a three year cycle in each classroom.
Students move from being the youngest to the oldest in their community and this approach is beneficial for students in a variety of ways. Older students become community leaders in the classroom and reinforce their own learning as they help guide the younger students as they progress. In turn, the younger peers are motivated to learn by seeing what others can accomplish. Children grow within an environment that allows them to progress at their own pace without grade level stigma and can take on challenges as they are ready to.
