We are welcoming the crispness of fall with open doors, literally, to our outdoor environment! What enchantment it has brought to the children as they discover our seeds sprouting from the soil so quickly.
As the season of gratitude approaches, we feel the entire Creo community strengthening and becoming more connected. Our Fall social is around the corner, with a Harvest theme we believe it's a perfect way to join in celebration of each child and family.
With the approach of Fall break, we have enjoyed our preparations for Observations and Conferences. Please remember that SchoolCues will close out the on the 19th for sign-up. The children are eager to serve our observers. Dr. Maria Montessori believed in the power of observation as the centerpiece of her method. An AMI Montessori Guide spends hundreds of hours observing the child during training and her daily life in the prepared environment following specific tasks in efforts to understand the child. Please remember that a thirty minute observation is a small snapshot into a family-like learning setting. The children continue to make outstanding progress daily and each follow their own individual path to self-fulfillment and consciousness.
While welcoming the cooler weather, the children have also been enjoying singing new fall themed songs and tasting different kinds of apples. We have also been talking about Degas as a featured artist and continue listening to Vivaldi: Fall. The children are developing Normalization as they assimilate classroom routines, procedures and Grace and Courtesy lessons.
It was so exciting to have another new student join us last week! We adore you!
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to providing your child with an authentic Montessori education during these crucial years in their development.
Best wishes for a fun and safe week off.
