Dear families,

Happy fall! We had a wonderful week full of milestones for the children. They are becoming more acclimated to the classroom routines and procedures. A few children have also begun the process of daily independent baking. We are still practicing our grace and courtesy lessons daily.

I am looking forward to commencing the one-on-one parent meetings this coming week. If you have not signed up yet, please do so via school cues. I cannot wait to get to know you better and share more information regarding your child.

Thank you for your support during morning drop-off and maintaining a “quiet-zone” in the hallway. At this age, children are very sensitive to order and thrive when they have a structured routine. It is very important that the children arrive at school on time.

Also, please take time to review our student health and wellness policy in the parent handbook. Apparently, our immune systems were also on summer break and some are stronger than others. Pay close attention to your child’s health and wait 24 hours after vomiting, diarrhea, or a fever has subsided before bringing your child back to school.

Thank you again for taking time to acknowledge my birthday last week, helping your children to make sweet cards and gifts. I definitely felt special and appreciate the thoughtfulness. We had fun celebrating Ms. Leydi’s birthday on Thursday September 25th.

Respectfully,

Ms. Lauren, Ms. Yadira and Ms. Leydi
